Renting a house in Quiberon, right by the water

Looking for a house to rent on the Quiberon peninsula? Ours is in Portivy, a hamlet of Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, right on the quay of the fishing harbour — 6 km from the centre of Quiberon, facing the wild coast.

Portivy or central Quiberon: which to choose?

Central Quiberon

Shops, market, train station, ferry to Belle-Île and the long Port-Maria beach. Convenient and lively — but very busy in July and August, and parking often takes some hunting.

Portivy (our house)

A small fishing harbour that has stayed authentic, the wild coast at the end of the lane, beaches 2 minutes away on foot and quiet evenings. Quiberon is still only a 10-minute drive when you need it.

The house at a glance

100 m² for 7 people: 3 double bedrooms and an extra bed, an open living room and kitchen with a sea view, a south-facing terrace and a garden. A wood stove for cool evenings, a barbecue for the others.
